Sometimes the most stressful parts about college are the small problems.

However, the problem occurs when you look in your closet and notice that 

 

you have barely have any going out attire. I mean sure you do have a few nice 

 

things like a black skirt, a tank top, and a dress that you bought for your sisters 

 

wedding. But you need something new because you always wear these things 

 

out! You don’t want to look boring, or even worse, like an outfit repeater! It’s time 

 

make a new purchase, but another problem arises... you don’t have any money. Little to no extra cash is left after paying for school supplies and your bills. Well do not fear! This article offers some tips that will have you looking  fresher than Kim Kardashian and Kanye West put together. For under $100 the InState Magazine team has put together going out looks for both men and women that will turn heads, but wont break the bank. 

 

 

Women

 

Once you’ve finished your makeup and hair it is time to put on your outfit for the evening. From the Metro underground sale store, we found a pair of grey skinny jeans for $39.97. Originally $79.95, the jeans create a very slimming effect and have zippers on the bottom sides of the pant legs. The back of the jeans has a simple, no design pockets which create a clean, chic look. We paired it with a pair of beige wedge booties, which add a little height and sex appeal to the outfit. The boots have two straps and buckles and only cost $29.99.

 

Next we stopped at Urban Outfitters, which is notorious for its exorbitant prices. However, Urban Outfitters has a surprisingly decent sale rack full of good deals. For $9.99 you can buy a black cropped turtle neck, which is cuter than it sounds. Combined with the jeans, this shirt allows you to be sexy without being over the top. To complete the outfit we found a simple gold “V” shaped necklace that only costs $12. All together, this outfit only costs $91.95. 

 

 

Men

 

Now the stereotype that men don’t care about their appearance needs to be broken. While men do dress more casually than women, guys want to look good when they go out just as much as women do. Luckily Urban Outfitters has a decent sale rack in the Men’s department. For $39.99 you can get pair of grey Levi Strauss’s skinny jeans. And for $29.99 Urban sells a pair of beige canvas sneakers that perfectly compliments the jeans. To complete the ensemble, the online Men’s department at Forever 21 has a classic red, white, and blue plaid 

shirt for $22.80. All together, this outfit only costs $92.78!
